Christmas Luncheon (EG Branch Event):

About the Event: Christmas Luncheon
Guest Speaker - Jan Gardner - My Colours, My Vision
Jan was born and brought up in North Wales and spent much of her early years wandering the lanes and hills around her home. It was here that the light, space and colours that inhabit her work first became an influence. Drawing on these memories and experiences of special places and her later travels in Europe, Morocco and the U.S.A.; she crafts vivid and atmospheric works. Colours that fly in from emotion and passion, relaying a deep connection with the varied, differing landscapes from which they evolve.

Submission Guidelines

What's On is compiled as a free service from information sent to the Embroiderers' Guild. Every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of entries but readers are advised to check on dates, times, etc.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: The following details must be included in the text of your email message, even if you are also attaching flyers, Word docs, PDFs or images. If the information is only in an attachment your entry will not be added to the web site.

Full address of venue incl. postcode.
Title of the event.
A sentence about the event.
Dates: opening times. Any practical information such as admission charges. A contact telephone number. Please also include a web address if available.

Entries are not restricted to Great Britain.

Workshops: we may only list workshops if you meet at least one of these criteria: you are a Guild branch or partner organisation; you are a museum or heritage centre; you advertise in one of our publications; your workshop is run on a non profit basis. Please contact us about advertising if you wish to publicise workshops/courses and don't fall into any of these categories.

Please note that as this is a free service, we are unable to guarantee that any entry will appear in Embroidery magazine or STITCH with the Embroiderers' Guild magazines. If such a guarantee is required, it is recommended that readers consider a paid advertisement.

Events for magazine publication must be received by us at least 3 months before the publication date of the issue in which they should appear. We will endeavour to list events on the web site within one month of receipt.
