Branch: Market Harborough
Introduction: |
We are a friendly group with varying abilities and areas of interest. Some of us are beginners and a few others are very experienced stitchers - most are somewhere in the middle! Some of us prefer hand stitch and others prefer machine stitch; some of us like to get messy with paints & dyes - but many of us really don't!. What is common to us all though, is an appreciation of stitched work in its many forms and an enduring interest in what other stitchers are doing, how they do it and where they get their inspiration from.
There is no expectation that members are highly skilled artisans - you just need to be interested in decorative stitch!
Visitors are welcome to attend meetings, talks and workshops to see whether we are the group for them - you will be made very welcome. |
