Recent additions to the Embroiderers’ Guild Collection

From January 15th and throughout 2022 – a new exhibition in the Beryl Dean Gallery at Bucks County Museum, featuring recent additions to the Guild collection.

During the pandemic the Embroiderers’ Guild has been very fortunate to receive a series of important gifts and bequests, all of which will enrich its collection historically and visually. This exhibition, Sew New!, showcases some of these recent acquisitions, with a particular focus on the work of named embroiderers who have contributed to the development of embroidery in their lifetime, in terms of their own work, their teaching and their authorship. Featured artists include Jan Beaney, Joy Clucas and Richard Box, together with Eirian Short, Eugenie Alexander and Sian Martin, to name a few. Why not come along and be inspired by the works of these notable names!
