Digitising the Collection has begun!

“It feels like Christmas to me, and it’s only October. I am having a lovely time unpacking items and getting them ready to be photographed as part of the Embroiderers’ Guild Digitisation project. 
The variety of items from a beret, mittens and scarf to 8 samples of edgings to a toy bull in pink and black are just fabulous. These were all in just the first box of many to be opened, checked and described ready for the photographer to take the photos – full shots and close-ups. “
