Written by The Embroiderers’ Guild is pleased to announce that its suite of distance learning courses (Inspired to Create) is, once again, becoming available for purchase.
We have spent some time reviewing, revamping, and reloading the initial level of our courses onto a new on-line platform, which is easier to use, and has allowed us to add some additional components to our original offering. The higher level courses are still in the process of being loaded, but we will be making further announcements as they come on-line.
These self-study courses take their students on a journey of discovery, helping them to develop a personal approach to design and to gain confidence in their embroidery practice. The first ‘stage’ is a taster course that introduces you to the approach and concepts that the later stages employ. There are two ‘Tasters’ – one focused on hand embroidery, and the other on machine embroidery.
Foundation(level 1) will be available in March with Level 2 Exploring and Level 3 Extending relaunch dates to be announced soon.

Guild members can claim a discount when purchasing an ITC course. Details can be found in ‘Member News’ once you are logged in to the Members’ area of this website.
Previous ITC course students will not need to re-purchase their courses. We will shortly be in touch to explain how you can access them again.
